A multifaceted trainer for more than 20 years, Mark is widely known in Connecticut. His services include individualized sport-specific training, rehabilitation therapy to pre and post surgical patients, and nutritional counseling to individuals ranging for all levels and ages. He has worked with professional, collegiate, and high school athletes, and has trained award winning bodybuilders, runners, swimmers and triathletes. Mark’s hallmark is his commitment to his clients, and his dynamic style and high-energy personality have produced remarkable results for people age 11 to 85.
A strong competitor, Mark is a 70.3 Iron Man Triathlon Finisher, and has personally excelled at many sports including track& field, bodybuilding, and triathlons. His specialties include certifications from professional fitness organizations NSCA, NASM, ACSM and ACE. In addition to those, he has earned a certification from APEX for nutrition and certified as an EMT-B.

Pam started as an instructor in the mid 80’s when group and women’s exercise programs were exploding in gyms across the country. The original JCC Aerobics Director in 1990, Pam left to continue her education. After completing her Master’s degree in Exercise Science, she went on to manage group fitness and spinning programs at a number of facilities in the CT. Returning to the JCC in 2010 as a Personal Trainer, Pam brings a numerous variety of specialty certifications including metabolic conditioning, core training and weight loss. A popular Largest Loser coach, Pam is motivated by empowering people to take charge of their health and fitness journey!

Earning his personal training certification in Israel, Yoni worked as a trainer since 2006, coming to the USA as a soccer recruitment for SCSU, where he was voted rookie of the year in the east coast and was selected SCSU’s scholar-athlete of the year in 2012!
His specialties include boxing, sports performance and muscular strength. Yoni loves training because it is a way to change other people’s lives.

A fitness professional since 1986, Deb has numerous specialties including balance training, core stability training, golf specific training and aquatic therapy. Her diversity in rehab training and experience in aquatic therapy allows her to help those recovering from injury or surgery, and she has been instrumental in helping older adults achieve and maintain strength, balance and flexibility.

After retiring from her corporate job of 31 years, Terri became a personal trainer after seeing over 40lbs lost as a Largest Loser participant. Motivated to help others improve their health and wellness, she is committed to helping others pursue their fitness journey. Her specialty experience is in High Intensity Interval Training for effective fat loss, battlerope core training and kettlebells.

Brings over 23 years experience teaching yoga and counseling in the New Haven and Shoreline area. He is certificate trained in Sivananda Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Integrative Yoga Therapy and Gestalt Psychotherapy.
As a Certified Posture Alignment Specialist trained in the Egoscue go, California, Alan is currently practicing as a Certified Posture Alignment Specialist (PAS). Creator of ‘Pain Free Yoga’, he’s integrated a powerful approach to movement and function. Alan’s creative and compassionate use of this array of therapeutic modalities powerfully supports clients’ movement toward wholeness and well-being.
In addition, his teaching draws on his advanced study and practice in Kripalu yoga, mindfulness meditation and stress management techniques.

Greg has been involved in fitness since 2007 working as a group exercise instructor and personal trainer at SCSU’s fitness center. In 2010 Greg came on board at the JCC as a Personal Trainer, and Largest Loser coach. A High School Special Ed Teacher, he uses his experience as a high school strength and conditioning, and track and field coach to specialize in youth fitness. Always seeking different fitness endeavors, Greg has participated in events ranging from power lifting competitions to sprint-triathlons to half-marathons. Greg enjoys working with clients of all ages and abilities to help them become the best version of themselves!

With over 10 years experience, Cemi is a versatile Personal Trainer / Health Coach. His clients range from professional athletes, weekend warriors to high school athletes. He likes to incorporate total body functional training exercises in his sessions to build a strong core and healthy body composition. As an active triathlete and marathon finisher, Cemi prides himself in helping others reach and surpass their fitness and health goals.

Her methodical and patient approach allows Cochi to effectively train people at any ability level. Cochi grew up in Israel but has been a resident of Bethany since 1993. Her love of athletics and sports is evidenced by her many years of enthusiastic racquetball play here at the JCC and participation in Yale's co-ed softball league. Fitness and wellness is a way of life for Cochi. Her objective is to help clients achieve their goals of healthy living and fitness in fun and challenging ways.

Chris is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals and reach new levels of health and fitness. He enjoys keeping his training sessions exciting, challenging, and effective by drawing upon a wide variety of training strategies specifically tailored to his client’s goals. Both strength and functional training are key components to Chris’s program designs. He believes proper training is essential to enhance performance in competitive events and activities of daily life, while maintaining a healthy lifestyle free from injury. His degree from Quinnipiac University school of Sports Medicine and Athletic Training and subsequent certification have provided experiences in injury prevention, nutrition, rehabilitation, and strength and conditioning.
