The Orchard Street Shul BagelTalk Series Presents
Not Politics As Usual: The 2016 Elections
Dr. Joshua Sandman, Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences, The University of New Haven

Did this election have your head spinning? Are you losing sleep over the fate of the free world? The 2016 Presidential election cycle will undoubtedly go down in history as a divisive and distressing, yet oddly compelling, political spectacle.

Have no fear: Dr. Joshua Sandman, Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of New Haven will help clear the fog surrounding the wildest election in memory. He'll cover an analysis of the key battleground states, the phenomenon of populist candidates, challenges facing the incoming President, and, of course, the Trump and Clinton campaigns.

Admission is $10 per person, includes a delicious bagel breakfast (kosher, Cholov/Pas Yisroel).

You can either pre-pay here (a small fee applies, but we'd be immensely grateful so please go ahead) or make a free reservation here and pay at the door.

We need sponsors! Show your support for Orchard Street Shul programming, baseball, and apple pie by helping to fund this and other upcoming events. Any amount is apprecited, but may we suggest an election year-themed $20.16, $201.60, or $2016.00? It probably won't change the election outcome, but you'll feel a lot better knowing you're supporting an organization that was founded during the Woodrow Wilson administration (1913)!
