Dear JCC Members,

 

We wanted to inform you of an incident of anti-Semitic property damage that occurred yesterday. Our staff discovered a single swastika spray painted on the sidewalk near the pool entry door on the side of the building. No other graffiti or damage was observed.

The Woodbridge police were called and immediately responded and have opened a case file.  The FBI, ADL and Secure Communities Network have all be notified and are closely monitoring the situation. We have received no threats but are taking this time to remind our staff to be attentive.

We are confident in our security protocols and our strong relationships with local law enforcement, who have reiterated their support for our mission, members, and community. 

We also ask our members to report any activity around the building that seems out of the ordinary.
