Series Features Sexual Misconduct, "Maus," and "Mortified Nation"

WOODBRIDGE, Connecticut; April 2, 2015 –Thanks to the generosity of David Beckerman and family and TD Bank, the JCC of Greater New Haven’s annual spring lecture series will return this year. Information-seekers and life-long learners of all ages will enjoy this season of thought-provoking events.

 

Tuesday, April 14, Sexual Misconduct on College Campuses. In light of recent media attention and legislative changes to the ways in which universities address rape and sexual assault, sex and consent have become hotly contested topics in America today. This discussion will highlight the ways these issues are dealt with on college campuses and across the nation. Panelists are Emily Bazelon, journalist and staff writer for the New York Times Magazine, and a senior research fellow at Yale Law School; Joseph Fischel of the Yale Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program; and Yale Law student, Alexandra Brodsky.
