Israeli-born artist Dganit Zauberman will speak about her current exhibition at BEKI, titled “Land in Flux,” which is on view from April 15 through June 14. Her talk will follow services and kiddush lunch. Shabbat rules will be observed.

Zauberman, who was raised in a kibbutz, moved to North Carolina in 1992, where she began formal art training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After relocating to Philadelphia, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of the Arts and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.

Since moving to New Haven in 2016 and establishing a studio at Erector Square, Zauberman has focused almost exclusively on developing her art. She has exhibited in galleries located throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, California and Connecticut, including at the Institute Library and ArtSpace in New Haven.
