Join Dr. David Bernstein, the Dean Emeritus of the Pardes Institute for Jewish Studies, for our first New Haven Beit Midrash program, titled "Machloket Leshem Shamayim: Living With Those With Whom We Disagree." Falling as it does in the wake of the American midterm elections, the theme for this evening's learning will be constructive conflict and communication across different opinions.

We are also thrilled to be joined by Greater New Haven's own Jeanette Kuvin Oren, designed of the 2022 USPS Hanukkah stamp, for a hands-on papercutting workshop. Note: space is limited for this breakout session.

New Haven Beit Midrash is powered by Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven and Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies, in partnership with Ezra Academy, Congregation Beth El-Keser Israel, Temple Emanuel and Temple Beth Tikvah.
